The Klondike Family of WAP Products Home | Products | Microbrowser Engine
The Klondike WAP Microbrowser Engine is the engine which enables the Klondike WAP Browser. Currently, the engine implements the following specifications: WML Version 1.2 WSP connectionless mode Version 5 WSP connection mode Version 5 WTP version 11 Push OTA, including service indication (SI), service loader(SL) and file loader WMLScript language specification Version 1.1 (the WML Script virtual machine part) HTTP/1.1 WTLS is available from a series of security providers. The engine is specially designed for operating systems running on small devices with very limited memory. It can be easily ported to any device platform that supports the C programming language. The engine has a very small footprint. Memory allocation requirements during runtime are carefully managed and kept to minimum. The Klondike WAP Microbrowser Engine is a product targeted at device manufacturers who wish to make a jump-start in developing device specific browsers. The following diagram explains the layering of the various protocols inside the Klondike WAP Microbrowser Engine.
